This is a blog like no others. We belive in making our world better by understanding it better and creating more understanding. We want to discovef its besuty and mysteries. We want to see as many sites on UNESCO’s world heritage list as possible.
But since we also travel to other places we will write about some of those as well. Maybe sites that should be world heritage sites or other places that are not and should not be a world heritage sites, but are worth visiting anyways. Enjoy!
Welcome to our adventure!
I do enjoy visiting UNESCO sites. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your comment. I love visiting those wonderful sites and I enjoy photographing and writing about them as well. 🙂
This is a fantastic idea. I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts.
Thank you! More is coming soon. 🙂

I’m a writer and I need a picture of jungle for my book cover (I’m building a montage).
On your worlds heritage web site I saw a picture “180 bwindi forest.jpg.”
Will you be kind enough to allow me to use this in my book cover.
If you approve I will acknowledge your generosity in the book.
Thank you for your kind consideration.

Thanks! 🙂
Is good to discover UNESCO sites but there are many unknown and unlisted places to discover and enjoy 😉
Of course there are and I’m trying to find some of these as well. I visit world heritage sites when I’m nearby, but they usually not the goal of my travels. 🙂
We are also planning a Sustainable Cycling Tour along the Americas. UNESCO’s sites will be on our way. But for sure we will explore as well other natural or cultural sites that are not yet recognized but need attention. We will also study the impact of tourism and share initiatives of sustainable tourism.
That sounds really great! How long time are you planning for this? I think you are going to have wonderful time and will for sure discover some amazing stuff.
Could I get you interested in a partner blog? http://gesundheitsuze.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/looking-for-partner-blogs/
I already have two (look under That’s me -> partner blogs)

Poland is great, by the way. Their food is awesome!

World’s Heritage is something we can’t miss on a travel list. this is great idea.
Yes, and sometimes it’s a way to discover things you wouldn’t think of, not only the heritage site (when it’s a detour you might discover wonderful countryside).
Indeed.

Glad I came across your website! And wish you the best for your quest to visit UNESCO WHS. I started a project called GoUNESCO to encourage people to visit world heritage sites too. Maybe you’d like to join? It’s a fun challenge where you visit WHS, post a picture and earn points.
We love visiting World Heritage Sites too.. we consider it “Our Unofficial Bucket List” 🙂 Glad to have stumbled across your site!
Glad you like it! The site has been resting for a while, but soon I am writing again. Welcome!
